Condition
Mixed-use condition, conservatively graded Acceptable overall. Some volumes appear considerably better individually.
Visible faults include shelf wear, rubbing, scuffing, creasing, worn corners and spine ends, and tanning/discolouration to some covers, jackets and exposed page edges. Several older jackets have tears, chipping and small losses, particularly the older Stallworthy biography, Out of Battle and The Great War and Modern Memory. The Rupert Brooke jacket is browned and spotted. Older paperbacks show spine creasing and edge wear.
The Childhood of Edward Thomas carries library barcode and classification labels. Dust jackets are present on several hardbacks; no missing jacket can be established confidently from the views supplied. Inscriptions, internal foxing and tape repairs cannot be confirmed from these exterior photographs.
The books have not been checked page by page. Internal condition and completeness have not been verified, and no claim is made that all pages are clean or unmarked. Please examine all photographs carefully for contents and condition.

There are two copies of Jon Stallworthy’s Wilfred Owen: A Biography, with different covers/formats. Her Privates We and The Middle Parts of Fortune are related versions of Manning’s wartime novel; the precise text/version of these copies has not been checked. Dominic Hibberd’s two Wilfred Owen books are separate works. Exact editions and printing dates have not been verified throughout.
