Terms & Conditions

Overview

Helion & Company Limited (Helion) agrees to provide you, the customer, with information and other services that we may decide to offer, subject to the terms of this agreement. We reserve the right to modify this agreement at any time. You agree and continue to agree to use our services in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the policies and guidelines outlined below.

Ordering and Availability

We reserve the right not to accept any order.

Prices and product details listed on this website are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. However, Helion reserves the right to amend prices or other information relating to any title without prior notice. The price displayed on our website at the time of ordering will apply.

We generally hold up to 5 copies of each title in stock. Orders for more than 5 copies may require us to source additional stock from our supplier, which can take up to 10 days.

Author Event Orders

Books ordered specifically for author events, including but not limited to book launches, signings, and promotional events, are supplied on a firm sale basis and are not eligible for sale or return. We ask that authors carefully consider the quantity required before placing an order, on the understanding that these copies are intended for sale at the event.

If you are unsure of the quantity needed, please contact us at info@helion.co.uk and speak with our Marketing Team. We can provide guidance and support with marketing options to helping to maximise event visibility and sales, reducing the need to purchase more copies than you may require.

Delivery & Shipping

We will deliver to almost anywhere in the world. The likely shipping time for your order will be advised at the time of purchase. Should we have to re-arrange delivery of items due to incorrect address information, or for any other reason not due to Helion, additional shipping charges are liable to be paid by you. See FAQs for further details.

Please note that tracked shipping can be selected at checkout (at additional cost). Normal shipping is not tracked and tracking information will therefore not be available. Please note that tracked shipping cannot be delivered to PO boxes.

If your parcel is lost in transit, we are prepared to re-send your goods on one occasion. Despatch of replacements will only take place after clarifying your full postal address. If your original address was incomplete or incorrect or you were unavailable to take delivery of the goods, we will not bear the cost of re-sending your order. If you have already had an order 'lost in the post' we reserve the right to refuse further orders placed without tracked shipping being selected.

Digital Rights Management (DRM)

All of our eBooks are supplied with Digital Rights Management (DRM) protection, which is a security measure that controls how digital content can be accessed, copied, or shared. This helps us protect the rights of our authors and publishers. Please note, however, that our Paper Soldier series is supplied without DRM.

We retain the authority to revise and modify shipping costs based on new carrier rates imposed by our carrier. These adjustments may fluctuate in either direction and can be implemented at any given time. Nevertheless, we are committed to consistently providing our customers with the most cost-effective shipping options while maintaining a high standard of service.
