Jonathan Davies
Jonathan Davies has written six books for Helion and Osprey on medieval and early modern warfare. Over the past 30 years he has designed, made, shot and written about medieval siege weapons, some small and others large. He has, with his re-enactment group, crewed full-scale trebuchets at the Danish Middle Ages Centre. For 15 years he toured with his company’s biggest trebuchet, ‘besieging’ castles for English Heritage, Cadw and Historic Royal Palaces at the Tower of London.
