Jonathan Davies
Jonathan Davies has written six books for Helion and Osprey on medieval and early-modern warfare. He has written extensively on the history and practise of archery in the medieval and Tudor history. He is an Archery Instructor and has taught traditional longbow archery in its historical context for nearly thirty years. For many years he was the Archery Officer for the National Association of Re-enactment Societies. Of necessity and for pleasure he has made his own arrows as well as a warbow. He read history at Cambridge and then spent forty years teaching and writing.
