Dirk Nottelmann
Dirk Nottelmann is a marine engineer by profession, presently working as a civil servant for the German flag-state administration, and has been working on the history of the Imperial Navy for about 40 years. He authored more than 150 articles and reviews on the topic as well as four books: “Halbmond und Kaiseradler – GOEBEN und BRESLAU am Bosporus, 1914-1918“, with Bernd Langensiepen; „Die BRANDENBURG-Klasse – Hoehepunkt des deutschen Panzerschiffbaus“; „Das Kanonenboot ILTIS (ii) – seine Vorgaenger und Nachfolger“, with Lothar Wischmeyer and “The Kaiser’s Cruisers, 1871-1918”, with Aidan Dodson.
