Carl Fredrik Sverdrup
Carl Fredrik Sverdrup was born in Copenhagen and first developed a passion for military history after reading G.F.C. Fuller's Decisive Battles of the Western World as a teenager. He applies a numbers-led approach to understanding military history. His previous works include the book The Mongol Conquests and articles in the Journal of Medieval History and Journal of Asian History. Carl lives in Switzerland with his wife and has two children.
