Glaube und Schönheit is a striking photographic volume produced in Nazi Germany and issued by the official publishing house of the NSDAP. Conceived as an illustrated celebration of physical culture, discipline, and idealised femininity, the book focuses on young women aged 17–21 associated with the Bund Deutscher Mädel (BDM), the female branch of the Hitler Youth.

The volume combines carefully staged and documentary-style photographs depicting sport, outdoor activity, communal life, and domestic training, reflecting the ideological emphasis placed on health, beauty, and service within the Third Reich. Introduced by Baldur von Schirach, Reich Youth Leader, the book is a revealing visual source for the study of National Socialist social policy, youth organisations, and propaganda imagery.

Today, the work stands as an important and sobering historical artefact, of interest to collectors and researchers of the Second World War, German history, and twentieth-century political visual culture.
