Original grey cloth and paper-covered boards with gilt titles and crest to front board. Light scuffing and ink mark to upper board, minor edge wear. Contents clean and tight, with minimal spotting around the frontispiece. A sound, well-preserved copy of this uncommon Newcastle war memorial publication.

In Memoriam (1914–1918) – Royal Grammar School, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Privately printed by the Northumberland Press Ltd., this rare memorial volume commemorates the former pupils of the Royal Grammar School who fell in the Great War. Includes a photographic frontispiece of the Memorial Organ presented by Sir Arthur M. and Lady Sutherland in 1923. Original quarter-cloth binding with gilt school crest and title to front. A moving testament to local sacrifice and an evocative example of early 20th-century school printing.
