Second edition of A History of Greece to 322 B.C. by the distinguished classical historian N. G. L. Hammond, published by Oxford University Press in 1967.

Long regarded as one of the standard single-volume histories of ancient Greece, Hammond traces Greek civilisation from the earliest prehistoric cultures through the Minoan and Mycenaean worlds, the Archaic and Classical periods, and the rise of Macedon under Philip II and Alexander the Great, concluding in 322 BC. The volume includes numerous maps, plans, figures and detailed scholarly references.

An important reference work for students, historians and collectors of classical history.
