fair condition. Significant age related wear to boards with staining rubbing and edge wear. The spine is partially detached from the cover and the binding is weak with some loose pages. Internally there is age toning and occasional foxing. Despite condition issues the book remains a complete and historically interesting copy.

The Household Brigade Magazine Volume IV is a 1901 regimental publication covering the activities experiences and culture of the British Household Brigade. Produced as an official or semi official magazine it includes a wide range of contributions from officers and men including accounts of service sporting events social life and military operations.

The volume is illustrated with photographic plates featuring officers soldiers and scenes from campaigns including South Africa during the Boer War period. It provides a valuable primary source insight into British Army life at the turn of the twentieth century.
