Condition
Hardback binding is in poor structural condition and requires repair. The spine is loose and partially detached, with an internal spine piece missing. Despite these issues, the internal pages are clean, well-preserved, and remain in very good condition throughout, with illustrations clear and intact. A sound candidate for rebinding or conservation.

A substantial bound volume of The Graphic, one of Britain’s most important illustrated newspapers at the turn of the twentieth century. Volume 61 covers January to June 1900 and provides extensive visual and written coverage of major events of the period, including the Second Boer War, British imperial affairs, political leadership, and social life at the height of the British Empire.
Renowned for its high-quality engravings and early photographic reproduction, The Graphic played a crucial role in shaping public understanding of global events. This volume contains numerous striking full-page illustrations, portraits of military and political figures, battle scenes, and period advertisements, making it an excellent reference source for historians, collectors, and researchers of late Victorian Britain and imperial history.
