Stephen M. Carter
Stephen Carter was born near the Sandhurst Military College in England and has studied military history since an early age. After 20 years in the Sealed Knot, rising from a musketeer to colonel, the author organised a series of events in 2005 to reconstruct the Monmouth Rebellion. This included the battles being recreated on the original sites, talks, and campaign marches. Since then he has been researching the life and times of Monmouth and frequently provides commentaries at period re-enactment events. All his findings are published on Twitter as @Warwalks, and while juggling writing with historical research, Stephen works in London and lives in Normandy, France.
