Sergei Popsuevich
Sergei Andreevich Popsuevich was born into a military family in the village of Knevichi near Vladivostok. After his father’s demobilization, the family moved to Ukraine, where Sergei later served in the Soviet PVO (air defence) forces, and thereafter in the Soviet and Ukrainian defence industries. Throughout these years his passion for photography continued both in an official military capacity and as a hobby. Sergei has published his work widely in defence papers and journals including the famous “Krasnaya Zvezda” military newspaper, and has provided many photographs for military publications including those of his co-author on MT-LB. Sergei today lives in Kyiv.
