Raffaele D'Amato
Raffaele D'Amato, PHD, is the author of more than 42 books and 100 articles on the military of Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire, including Byzantium and Medieval Europe. He taught at the University of Ferrara, and for two years as a visiting professor at Fatih University of Istanbul. He currently lives in England, working as professional archaeologist, consultant and legal advisors at the Timeline Auctions of Harwich, of which is also Head of the Department of Antiquities.
