Perry Pierik
Dr. Perry Pierik is a Dutch historian who obtained his doctorate in geopolitics. He has published many books on contemporary history, with the First and Second World Wars as his main areas of focus. His work was awarded the Civis Mundi Prize. He is regarded as one of the leading historians in the Netherlands in the field of the history of the first half of the twentieth century. He has contributed to or published dozens of books. One of his most important works is From Leningrad to Berlin, about Dutch volunteers on the Eastern Front.
