Kaloyan Matev
Kaloyan Matev lives and works in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria. He graduated from the Technical University in Sofia, with a specialty in motor vehicles, and his life is directly connected with the automotive business in Bulgaria. He was a member of the editorial group of the specialized scale modeling magazine ‘Club Models’ from 1999 to 2003. His favourite historical period is the Second World War. He is the author of three books published in Bulgaria connected with the motor vehicles and armour of this conflict. This is his third book for Helion, previous being The Armoured Forces of the Bulgarian Army 1936–45 (2014) and Red wind over Balkans: the Soviet offensive south of the Danube, September–October 1944 (2019).
