J P Harris
John Paul Harris taught War Studies at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for over 35 years. His Douglas Haig and the First World War (Cambridge University Press, 2008) won the Templer Prize (2009) in the UK and the Distinguished Book Award for Biography (2010) from the Society of Military History in the US. His other major books include Men, Ideas and Tanks (Manchester University Press, 1995), Amiens to the Armistice (Brassey’s, 1998) and Vietnam’s High Ground (University Press of Kansas, 2016). Married to Ngan, he lives in College Town, Sandhurst.
