Fergus Cannan-Braniff
Descended from Jacobites and the medieval kings of Scotland, Fergus Cannan-Braniff is a prolific historical author who worked at the Victoria & Albert Museum, and was Head of Religion & Philosophy at The Skinners' School, Kent. He leads the living history group the Greensand Rangers and recently appeared in armour in the surrealist grail legend film The Matter of Britain, and on History Hit to discuss galloglass. His next book will be the prequel to The Gaelic World at War, covering Irish armies of the earlier Middle Ages.
