Edward M Furgol
The author received his doctorate from Oxford University. He has written extensively on the military history of the early Scottish Covenanters. After retiring from a career in the heritage industry, he has concentrated on that topic. In addition to this book, he has written several chapters for ‘His Majesty’s Loyal Subjects’: The Scottish Royalist Armies of the British Civil Wars, 1639-1655, co-authored with Dr. Andrew Lind.
