Colin W Taylor
Colin Taylor is a British Army officer in the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) with nineteen years commissioned service, much of it as an Ammunition Technical Officer. His career has included employment as a dismounted infantry patrol commander; as a signals officer; in logistic planning and in training roles. He has completed two operational tours in Afghanistan and various overseas deployments including the USA, Jordan, Malawi and Poland. Having a long-standing passion for military history, his academic credentials are a War Studies BA and two MAs in Military History and Defence Studies respectively. Colin has travelled to numerous former battlefields in Europe and beyond including Turkey, Jordan and Hong Kong. He has also participated in archaeological digs. His current publications include several articles for the Western Front Association magazine ‘Stand To!’ and the Royal Logistic Corps Foundation Review. Colin enjoys spending time with his family, museum visits and orienteering.
