Bruno Mugnai
Bruno Mugnai was born in Florence in 1962 and still lives there with his partner Silvia. Active for years as a historical researcher and illustrator, he is the author of several titles published by, among others, the Historical Office of the Italian Army and Helion & Co. His books focus on the historical periods and geographical areas of his interest - the ancient Italian states, Central and Eastern Europe in the sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth centuries, and South America after the conquest. He is a member of `La Sabretache', the French Society for Military History Studies, and of the Italian Society of Military History. As an illustrator, he collaborates with Italian and foreign specialists, and with the Stibbert Museum of Florence. Bruno is a Rugby Football Union enthusiast, who still believes in an Italian Grand Slam in the Six Nations Tournament.
