War in Ukraine Volume 15

War in Ukraine Volume 15 provides a detailed chronicle and analysis of the Ukrainian Air Force’s combat operations during the fighting in the Donbas in 2014 and 2015. It examines the deployment of aircraft including the Su-27, MiG-29, Su-25, Su-24, An-26, An-30 and Il-76 against pro-Russian armed formations and Russian forces operating in support of them.

The book presents information on the number of sorties flown, weapons employed, aircraft losses and the effectiveness of Ukrainian air operations. It also analyses the use of Soviet- and Russian-produced air-defence systems against Ukrainian aircraft and considers their impact on the course of the campaign.

Written by a leading Ukrainian specialist in the history of the Russo-Ukrainian War, the book draws on new research and previously unpublished material. It is illustrated with numerous photographs, including images published for the first time, together with detailed colour aircraft profiles.
