Michael Fredholm von Essen
Professor Michael Fredholm von Essen is an historian and former military analyst who has published extensively on the history of Eurasia and lectured, during conferences or as visiting professor, around the world. He has published a large number of books, including The Goths 1-2 (Society of Ancients, 2021-2022); Afghanistan Beyond the Fog of War (NIAS Press, 2018); Transnational Organized Crime and Jihadist Terrorism: Russian-Speaking Networks in Western Europe (Routledge, 2017); numerous articles in Slingshot, the journal of the Society of Ancients, and Arquebusier, the journal of the Pike and Shot Society; and many books for Helion Press.
