José Augusto Matos
José Augusto Matos: is an independent Portuguese researcher focused primarily on air operations during Portugal’s colonial wars in Africa. A regular contributor to multiple aviation and naval periodicals, he has two books in Portuguese, one on the relations between the former Portuguese regime and South Africa and another on Operation Mar Verde in Guinea in 1970. This is his 7th book for Helion.
