Hughes de Bazouges
Hughes de Bazouges is a retired colonel in the French Army. His interest in military history and uniforms centres around the history of the French military emigration in which a direct ancestor took part during the Revolution. He has pursued his passion by writing many articles dedicated to the armed émigrés and offering his expertise to identify original pieces, such as portraits and flags, held by the Musée de Condé (Château de Chantilly, France).
