Fourth volume in this official history series. Traces the development of organic and technical armoured troops from the second half of the '50s to the restructuring of 1975. This was a period marked by the rebirth of the Italian defense industry first through a review of the means of then through reproduction under license from American and German vehicles. This allowed Italy to free itself at least in the automotive sector to imports from abroad. In the second half of the 1970s the army in addition to deploying an armored component achieved the objective of the integral mechanization and motorization.
